Details

Nangma valley is one of the best rocks climbing area of the Karakoram Baltistan and boast excellent area ranging from moderate to high altitude rock climbing, including famous Amin Brakk (5850 M), and 5650 meters Great Towers. We have tailored this program to provide maximum opportunity for scaling peaks by selecting independent objectives just setting the base camp at the spectacular grassy site surrounded by soaring granite spires.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival Skardu

• Arrive in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. • Rest and recover from your flight. • Meet your team and attend a briefing about the trek, the route, and safety measures.

Day 2:
Fly from Islamabad to Skardu

Early morning flight to Skardu (flights are subject to weather), if unable to fly we will depart for Skardu by road with overnight stay at Chilas. Overnight stay in hotel at Chilas.

Day 3:
Chilas to Skardu

In case of flight has operated we will go for sightseeing tour of Skardu and in case no flight, the day will be used for over land travel from Chilas to Skardu (total drive is 22 – 24 hrs from Islamabad to Skardu). Overnight stay in hotel at Skardu.

Day 4:
Skardu

the day is to finalize the expedition arrangements. Overnight stay in hotel at Skardu.

Day 05:
Drive to Kandy

We drive in jeeps along the Indus and Shyok valleys before turning northwards up the Kandy valley to reach the road head at the little Village of Kandy. (Tent)

Day 06:
Trek to Great tower base camp

Today we will leave the last inhabited village of Kandy. For the remaining portion of our journey we will rely on our local team who will carry our food and equipment and sustain our expedition. (Tent)

Day 07-25:
Climbing Activities

We have 19 days for Rock Climbing of Great Tower (rock climbing of other peaks by selecting independent objectives). (Tent)

Day 26:
Trek back to Kandy and drive to Skardu

After breakfast we will Trek back to Kandy and then embark jeeps for ride on a winding jeep road to Skardu. Upon arrival transfer to hotel and check in.Overnight stay in hotel at Skardu.

Day 27:
Skardu to Chilas

Early morning drive to Chilas. On arrival transfer to hotel and check in.Overnight stay in hotel at Chilas.

Day 28:
Chilas to Islamabad

After breakfast we will depart for Islamabad via babusar pass. On arrival transfer to hotel, overnight stay in hotel at Islamabad.
